New Year’s Eve Prayer Vigil

Date/Time
12/31/2020 - 01/01/2021
8:30 pm - 1:00 am

It began small but soon many are interested and excited! CACW will have its first New Year Eve prayer vigil. We will come together to give thanks to God and to pray for the New Year 2021. If you have not been attending weekly prayer meetings, you can make up for it by coming to this prayer vigil! If you have been attending, then you can be excited about coming together as a church to pray for 2021!

This is the challenge. The vigil “Pray over the New Year” will begin 8:30pm Dec 31st, 2020 and end at 1am Jan 1st, 2021. Brothers and sisters, come and join us for the 4 and 1/2 hours or stop by for a short while. It is ok. Come and pray with us – silently, or out loud, share a verse with us, a note of encouragement, a voice of thanksgiving, a shout of praise!!!! Yes, even just being there with us in the zoom, just praying silently with us, you are lending your support. You are recognizing that we need God. We need God’s healing as taught in 2 Chronicles 7:14
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

This is our hope that Acts 2:16-18 may even happen to us when we seek him and give us visions for 2021!
16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

So… come and pray with your brothers and sisters
Amen and Amen
Peter
